SEISMO Group was founded in 1993, and the company's mission from the beginning has been to create packaging that serves a purpose while also looking good. Founded by Ismo Seeve, who recognised an unmet demand for a business that could meet the needs of its customers by providing a full range of packaging services and innovative solutions to their problems.

The purpose of attractive packaging is to entice buyers. "It has to leap off the page or the screen," says Ismo Seeve, CEO of SEISMO Group. 'I have to be able to hold it in my hands and feel interested enough in it to want to buy it. However it's done, it's crucial that the brand's history be conveyed. That's a lot to ask of packaging, but I still maintain that it's the first thing buyers see."

Seismo Group has made substantial investments in the circular economy over the past decade, and this pattern is predicted to continue as brands become more at ease with sourcing from renewable resources, which results in a smaller carbon footprint.
